Soul-mate

I hate watching you walk alone.
I hate you dying from the want of human love
I hate saying how I hate you

You are someone
I first explored love with
With you I touched
Love ' s first smiles
And a feeling elusive and breathtaking

You are the only one I have desired desperately
The one I imagined all my dreams with
The soul that I would everyday date with

I hate it when the crowd engulfs
Your twilight presence so profound
I hate it when I remember
Of the many times you confessed of being listless & lost
Barren of love and starving of care
I hate it when you are crying for the humane touch
A kiss and a caress to rejuvenate your wounded soul

I think of those teary nights
And the days that were dark, dreary and guiltsome
Alone and heart wrecked I would wander for sincere care
And You.
Wanting you to love me
With a timid, uncared, abandoned girl
Hold her close and tell her
That ' I Love you '
