Beautiful Home

All my cracks were filled.
All my holes were stitched.
When he came
I was still the same
With my crumbling brokenness
And my consuming solitude
I sat near the doorway
Holding my heart in my hand
My dreams brightening the milkyway
While my feet stretched into the sand.
The paintings that were undone
Found their lines and colours
The songs that were forgetten
Sang themselves to life
On the floor of his patience
I planted the seeds of our love
Inside the walls of his protection
I let my little dream grow
Around the fences of his many hopes
I built our little home

Talking to you

I spoke to you today,
A lot and a lot more.
It felt so nice,
Like walking in a garden..
With flowers of all colours.
Looking toward me,
And the bright rainbow,
I have been radiating
Were multiplying,
Turning into hues,

Of unimaginable shades.
Where the fountains played,
To the songs my heart sang,
They sprinkled the drizzles,
Of little surprises.
To fall on my face,
To moisten my lips,
With a smile,
That you gave!
